How it all began….
It all started back in 1998, Helena Balck-Lavrsen won silver at the Winther Olympics at Nagano and Kim wanted to show his two daugthers- Denise and Madeleine – how to play curling. Two of Denises school maids – Helle and Maria – wanted to try as well now they have been watching curling on TV for hours !
Just after a month the curling season ended, but all five, including their coach, returned as the new season started in august. Team Dupont was now officially formed, and allready the same year they won silver at the Danish Junior Championships. It was clear to everyone that the girls had a big talent for the sport. That put together with a sometimes rough training-program made the team develop very quickly.
Since then the teams has accomplished some rather magnificant results, including three Danish Juniorchampionships and one Danish Women Championships.
Team Dupont has now joined Team Angelina Jensen from Tårnby Curling Club under the new name Team TCC. Team Dupont continues as well as a junior team with Madeleine as skip.
